History
The Frosty Ball Lacrosse Tournament was started by a Yorktown Parent in 2014 to make up for a cancelled tournament. It is a tournament designed to be a fun, no pressure event, to showcase talented teams from the DC Area. We try to match up high school teams that would not normally play each other in the regular season.
Cost
I run this for fun and at cost. I make no profit. Team fees go to cover the cost of the fields, officials, trainer, field managers, and insurance.

Quotes from Coaches about Frosty Ball Tournament
"I am late in responding, but only because I passed out last night after getting home. Thank you to all coaches, players and organizers of this event. Having coached in many many summer/fall tournaments, this was by far the most fun… and comes closest to what I remember lacrosse being all about… a fun game with a rubber ball played by good friends with good competition. I wish everyone a happy holiday !"
"Great day of lacrosse! I thought every team had their moments and put out a solid effort all the way around. It was a pleasure and I hope we can do it again. "
"Great job!
6 exciting games, almost all decided by one goal and no incidents or significant injuries. I was very impressed with the skills and sportsmanship of all the teams and players. "
"Great day yesterday all around. Best of luck to everyone this spring and have a great holiday season."
